The Spirit of Cowichan website was created to support the Cowichan Spirit committees and the regional organizations that have worked on various community activities over the last few years. It continues to act as an information support for the many intercultural activities that continue to grow within the region.

Spirit of Cowichan Celebrations 2008
The key partners for the 2008 Spirit of Cowichan Celebrations and the Spirit Pole carving tour included, BC 150, Spirit Pole Committee, Cowichan 2008 North American Indigenous Games, Cowichan Valley Regional District, SD79, Cowichan Region Economic Development Commission (CREDC), Film Cowichan and Tourism Cowichan. The key committees responsible for the organizing the individual celebrations were, Cowichan Lake Chamber of Commerce, Cowichan Bay Business Improvement Association, Duncan Business Improvement Area Society, Town of Ladysmith, Ladysmith Merchants Association.

The Olympic Torch Relay- Cowichan Celebrations
The key partners for the 2010 Olympic Torch Relay-Cowichan Celebrations include the Province of BC, the Spirit Committees, Cowichan Valley Regional District, City of Duncan, District of North Cowichan, Town of Lake Cowichan, Town of Ladysmith.
